What to do if I lost my pet?
Losing your pet can be scary! If this happens, don’t panic. Stay calm and follow the steps listed below.
- Report your pet as missing. If you haven't created a profile on our platform yet, please sign up first. It's free and will help you keep track of any sightings.
- If you are logged in and have a profile created for your pet, go to the pet's profile and mark it as missing.
- The system will ask you a few questions and generate a missing report for you.
- The system will automatically match your pet when people report a sighting that might match your pet.
- You will receive notifications when your pet is potentially sighted or found.
What else can you do when your pet went missing?
- You can browse other sightings and found pets on the platform.
- Create lost posters and spread the word on social media.
- Call the SPCA at +65 6287 5355 to report your missing pet.
- Call the Animal Response Centre (ARC) at +65 1800 4761600 as they may have already found your pet.
- Persistent and thorough search is the key to finding your pet.
- Follow these tips if you lost your bird.

Cat
- Please continue searching, floor by floor. Please look near, start and restart from your apartment. Look in corridors behind plants, shoeboxes, under covers and shelves as your cat might be hiding.
- If within 12 hours, cat is very likely on your floor or one or two floors above or below. MUST Put up photo notices at lift lobbies and letter boxes and under immediate neighbour’s doors.
- Also ask around and your neighbours if they have seen ur cat. Also, put up posters at your lift landing so people can see and lead you to where your cat is.
- Check with cleaners (daytime) and feeders (mostly nighttime). Look in neighboring drains. Cats will move in the night when things quieter down. But in day likely to remain frozen in safe shelter.
- Check with nearby shops, vets or groomers or petshops or security guards and cleaners and gardeners. Leave notices with them.
- You may repeatedly search again at night when there are less people as cats are scared and tend to hide during day time. You may bring along the cat's kibbles while searching as there is high chance that your cat would comes out..
- Also you can put your cat's litter box outside of your house. Your cat will smell his way home.
- Good luck n don't give up. Thereare cats which survive well and are found weeks after just in the vicinity.
- Check on cat welfare society web page and report to spca. Call Avs 1800 476 1600 to find out if any cat picked up.
What to do when your pet has been found?
- It is always polite to inform your search team once you find your pet. Post an update on our Facebook group and other appropriate media, take down the notices you had put up, and thank everyone who helped.
- Make sure to update your pet profile status.
